LONDON–Nominees for the Olivier Awards 2016 with MasterCard gathered for the annual Nominees’ Celebration, which this year took place at Rosewood London.  The winners will be announced at the Royal Opera House on Sunday, April 3, 2016.  This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Olivier Awards.

This year’s awards will be broadcast in the UK on ITV and Mellow Magic, Magic Radio’s new digital spin-off station, and on the Olivier Awards’ new YouTube channel (youtube.com/OlivierAwards) worldwide outside the UK.

  • Established in 1976, the Olivier Awards with MasterCard celebrate the world-class status of London’s theatre and are the UK’s most prestigious stage honours.
  • Society of London Theatre (SOLT) is the not-for-profit organisation which provides a collective voice for the theatre owners, producers and managers of all the major commercial and grant-aided theatres across London.
